Got my 660 MID yesterday...

Post by steambyrd »

The 2003 660 MID I bought on eBay Saturday arrived yesterday morning. It is beautiful! A couple minor scratches on the back you have to hold in the light just right to see; otherwise spotless, as is the vintage case it came in. The action is super low, no buzzes, and it plays like a dream. The sound is pure Rick. I was a bit nervous about selling my 370 to buy the 660 sight unseen, but now I am a very happy camper!

Congrats, Jim! IF those scratches can only be seen with the light reflecting off them just right. you might be able to remove them with Scratch-X. Try the Scratch-X / Zymöl treatment, and watch that Midnight Blue finish really shine.

Thanks, Kris. I will try the Scratch-X/Zymol. I have the Fender/Meguiar package at home, but haven't tried it yet. Have you ever used it?

Sorry, Dave. I haven't had a chance to take a picture yet, but I do have one from my eBay purchase that I saved.

Congrats on the 660 Jim. It's a beauty.

Aitch I love both of your 350's. I am going to have a hard time deciding which one to play.

Glad you said "play" and not "pinch", Brian.... Image

Thanks to all for the congrats; I have learned a lot from the forumites here, and am grateful for all of the suggestions and input I have received since joining. Aitch, that is also one very pretty 350!
