Yeah, until Long Beach becomes Long Reef after SoCal breaks off the continent and sinks! Image

Scott, what area in LB are you from? I grew up in Long Beach also. My mom still lives in the same house off of Del Amo on Bellflower Blvd.

I'm off of Spring and Bellflower. I went to CSULB my last two years of college. Lived in the Valley for about ten years and then came back to the LBC. I'm definitely an LBC homeboy.

Licorice Pizza!! Wasn't that on Atlantic Blvd or LB Blvd? Damn! I spent many a dollar there on records.

Scott, I'll email next time I'm there. You ae only about 3 miles from my folks. I hope to return there someday. I miss Seal Beach also.

The original location was on 5th I believe, just a block west of LB blvd. Two doors down was a hot dog stand built in to the side of the building, almost like a closet! they turned us on to America, Neil Young's Harvest, and Commander Cody in the space of three pay days (Navy). We would go in and ask for something new and different, and those were the three!!! I should mention we were heavily into hard rock at the time.....
