I just found this and was wondering if anyone knew anything about the way this thing is wired. Supposedly, from the story, it's all original. Custom order, I guess? I thought it was worth a peak!
You'll see it as soon as you click on the link , I think. (The link I think, ha) Also I'm posting this here and not on the RIC site because I don't want to be responsible for starting another reissue debate over there.

HMMMMMMM

You can see the old masking tape thru the pick guard.

It could be an one off???

Might have been a special order. Vol/ tone/ toggle. The PG and tape all look legit.

- the pickguard looks quite transparent, maybe it is just the flashing camera
- look at the bridge and the position of the saddles LOL

Francesco: That is one sharp bass...

I can't believe I wrote "peak" instead of "peek". To think I went to college. Me stoopid.

Hmmm...A special order? A one-off? I don't think so. "The pickguard looks legit." So does the one I fashioned a couple weeks back for my 1970 21 fret 4001. "The tape looks legit."Image
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.
