Wow. I remember seeing Janis on Ed Sullivan in the late 60s do "Society's Child" and I went upstairs to my Barth guitar and wrote my first song, which I have no idea now what it was called or what it was about. But she moved me enough to write.

She did a solo gig at my local Borders a couple years ago, I just happened to be there when she showed up. It was a blast seeing her in that environment.
