1997 MB 4003S/5 on Ebay

The bridge is installed correctly. The the heads of the intonation screws are to the rear of the bridge, and they are in their countersunk holes of the bridge. I'm thinking about swapping the D and G saddles and see how that works out. I'd rather not have to widen the slot. I'm not ragging on this bass guitar. It sounds and plays great even with these very mellow flatwounds that are on it. I haven't used flatwound strings since 1975. You guys are great, thanks for the suggestions.

Would it work to just reverse that one saddle?

I thought about turning the saddle around, but then I think the D string would be too close to the A string, and might not intonate properly, but I will try that anyway, it's worth a try. The groove cut in the D and G string saddles seem to be the same.
