I used to live on Mariposa in Hollywood. Now THAT was dangerous.

Hello again! I'm writing from the London-Heathrow terminal lounge awaiting the trip back home....like all good things, this super-trip is coming to an end.

Much thanks to Graham and his family for their incredible generosity. I think this trip started with a lot of handshakes and ended with a lot of hugs. Graham was an absolutely incredible host and he has a couple Ricks or two that he even let me play!

Very happy thank you to new forum friend Peter and his wife Barbara for their great hospitality as well!

There will be a lot more pictures n' such to come once I have everything downloaded and sorted out.

And the little teaser to come: Watch out for Australian Forumites YouTube premiere with a cool little music video. I've got everything I need to begin editing and working out the video and I'll have it up on the tube in 30 days or less....guaranteed! Image

A big thank you goes out to my virtual travel buddies on this trip. The more you guys read this thread and commented on it, the more I pushed myself to check out even more new things and activities to report back on.

The combined trips to Australia and England have been an absolute highlight in my life and I had a brilliant time. It without a doubt would not have been possible without the members of this forum and I am forever grateful for the opportunity.

Have a safe trip back home Alisha. Post when the video is up and ready. It has been fun traveling with you (vicariously).

It was a pleasure to be your tour guide Image I was only sorry that I had to work quite so much of the time that you were here. You've certainly had the most interesting month! I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures. Hope you have/had a safe trip home and I also hope you enjoy your first day back at work Image

Alisha, it's hard to explain how much I've enjoyed reading about and looking at the pictures of your adventures. Thanks for sharing.

BTW,
...hope you enjoy your first day back at work.

Alisha, it was great meeting you. We had a laugh in Liverpool didn't we? Pity the weather wasn't so good for the festival gig when you came "up north!", at least it didn't snow! Have a safe journey home and I hope that we see you again soon somewhere on this (getting smaller by the minute) planet.

I agree with Tim. You shared quite a bit of yourself and your vacation with all of us. Thank you for taking us along, Alisha.

Hey Alisha!! I'm really pleased that you had a great time in pommie-land and saw so much of it. No doubt Graham and Peter had you crying with laughter regularly! Image

Looking forward to seeing and hearing more.....

Alisha, the first rule of returning to work from vacation is to book the next one. That's way more important than catching up on all of the boring work stuff Image

Amen to that John, I think Alisha should take Darren's advise, she puts together a very informative travel log for the rest of us, don't you think? Image
