I'm not a big jazz guy but I happened to be talking with a friend about John Scofield, and went to his website to check out what guitars he is playing these days. No, not Rickenbackers! But I did come across this old pic of him WITH a Rickenbacker, going through, what looks like an old Ampeg Gemini I - a GREAT amp!

Cool! Thats an early '62-'63 615 in JG. I've got a '64 615 JG that looks just like except for the knobs.
