Just got back from Truetone Music in Santa Monica. 12 Ricks! No basses though. One used '66,
one 360 DCM, and one lefty 350/12.

A few 660/12's, 360/12's, 330's, 6 series. Wow, like old times!

After posting here, next week they may be Rickless.

330JG, but it has been refinished. I wasn't wearing my glasses, but it looked and felt fine.
Actually not 100% about it being refinned, turned the tag over, lots of writing, thought i saw refinished on there. Big help I am, eh?

Asking around 3400 if I saw correctly. Ser. # Gxxx, oops, that's '67 isn't it?

[email protected] - he was helping me with the Dr.Z's. Nice guy.

Hmmm, it might be a RM 1997. Graham Griffiths and I were at Truetone last August and they had a guitar "out the back". They were reluctant to sell it prior to "restoration", but it was definitely a jetglo RM 1997 (or a 335S?).

Perhaps this is the same one?

This was on a separate wall than the other Ricks, so it was the last thing I saw before rushing out cause a) I had to get back to work, and b) I had to pee real bad.

Anyone want it checked out more carefully (that is, with spectacles on and, well, never mind...)?

Hey, you guys should let me know when you will be down at Truetone. They are less than a mile from my work, We could do lunch, or you could swing by and see/play my Pace bass, and see the innards of Universal Music Group, the world's largest record company. Our publishing arm just got approved by the EU to buy BMG(already approved for US), so we have a HUGE percentage of publishing rights also.

That's the jetglo one, no? I saw it a couple of months ago. It is a mediocre refin as far as I can tell, but appears to have been done a good while ago. Very thick finish, very skinny neck. IIRC it's not a 330, it's a 1997 or a 335S.

I'll swing by after work today to double-check. I'm in West LA so Truetone is only about 15-20 minutes from here.

Well it's a 345S. I'm convinced it's a refin but maybe one of you chaps has a better eye for discerning if this is the case. They're asking $3495 on the hang tag.

Obviously I couldn't get them to open the control cavity to see if there were any finish remnants. It appears to be original otherwise, including the Accent.

Loads of other Ricks there as Jerry mentioned. They have as 620JG with the "new" headstock. IMHO it's a feature that really works with that guitar's styling. I like it a lot.

I'm pretty sure it says somewhere on the back of the hang tag "refinished" (as I said, I was glasses-less).

And yes, the finish appeared a bit thick, like I do sometimes.
