hehehe... seems like every couple of weeks someone posts a video of Hey Bulldog! I guess we can't say it's one of those undiscovered gems anymore!

Yeah, I put the link on the Ric corporate forum last year, but it's still nice to see it pop up again. You do get a couple of shots of Paul playing the now repainted 4001S and you can also see part of it on the floor (yikes) by the drum kit.

The video has had a lot of hits, maybe around 250K now. You can tell it was a happy session, something that Emerick comments on in his book "Here, There, and Everywhere."

Ya, its a great one. They left for India the following day.

For me - One of my top 5 fav Beatle songs. It rocks hard.... John shakes off his psychedelic malaise with a vengeance!

Interesting you mention they left for India the next day - Emerick mentioned in his book they they came back from India very different - Bad feelings in the studio and intense bickering. It seems to me the Hey Bulldog session was the end of a distinct period in the Beatles' career - Interesting it was documented in such detail.

It's a joy to play that bass line...and impossible to nail it exactly the way Paul played it. Just a whole bunch of cool, bouncing fun.

Thanks for posting this. I hadn't seen it before. I really enjoy any opportunity to see a band, especially the Beatles having fun. It really reminds you of the joy of it all when you see something like this. It really reminded me of the end of the Hello, Goodbye promo when they are all dancing, which is one of those fun clips that I don't get tired of seeing.
