UNCUT Magazine - June 2007 (3 Ric bass pics)

I sometimes hit the local Barnes and Noble to see what they've got in the magazine rack for music magazines and I came across the June 2007 issue of UNCUT with a younger Paul McCartney on the cover.

For those interested in photos of the older British import model 1999 (4001S), there is a photo of McCartney playing his much changed 4001S on a boat for the "London Town" sessions on page 54 as part of a Wings article. There is also a concert shot of it sitting on stand on stage from a 1975 concert in the U.K.
Two more: the Primal Scream bassist (Mani) looks to play a 3000, and those images are on page 14. Also, there is a shot of "Doll by Doll" on page 28. Robin Spreafico is playing a 4001.

There is also a good shot of a fireglo 1999 (4001S) on page 44 in an article on the Kinks. It is an image of the Kinks from the show "Thank Your Lucky Stars." I actually want to read the article on the Kinks next.

I would doubt that McCartney will do another interview with that reporter however, though I did find out a few things about the Wings period.

I've also read the article on Joe Strummer, and ones on Marianne Faithfull and the Kinks are pending.
