Productions years of the black plexi TRC?

it seems they were utilized for a very short time. my '75 4001 has one, would that be near the end of the run?

Yes. What's the alpha serno on yours?

So far, mine is the only one I have come across which has
Black Plexi TRC and
1 inch neck pickup spacing

My bass is serno# OJ72xx. October 1975.

All LH models have plexi TRC's (not all black of course).

my 74 4000 is white with black PG and TRC.
