Beach Babes

Post by rick_ovic »

Here's are my latest Beach Babe photos. It's winter in Melbourne, so getting the sun to some out has been difficult today.

Hope you enjoy them Image. If you want to see full size pictures, go here:- http://s210.photobucket.com/albums/bb129/rick_ovic/

Check out the bodies on these Fatties. On the left is a 1960 345F and on the right is a 1960 335F. Note the differences in the Fireglo and the TRC and pickguard colors:-

Gorgeous photos & guitars, Darren! Any idea if the white plastic parts on the '60 335F are stock?

JB, 100% stock white TRC and guard. I've only ever seen this color combination on my F model and one Capri, played by Eric Johnson:-

Nice guitars and setting (of course!).

I Like the bass, reminds of one our bassist had back in the 70's. Unfortunately his car ran over it, twice or three times, one night after a gig down the NSW South Coast and broke the neck - long story.

A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

How do the F models sound? Are they similar to the 330/360, or boomier, more bottom-end, mellower, or what?
