It's Official: 12 month wait for a Rick

Post by drumbob »

Maybe this is old news, but I spoke to Rick customer service last week after I ordered the toasters from Pick Of the Ricks and was told there's now a 12 month wait on Rick orders. Looks like there will be no special color for '08 either, so they can catch up on back orders. Again, maybe you guys knew this already, but I didn't.

The 'twelve month wait' would actually be a reduction in wait time from what it has been recently.

When I ordered a Laredo in Oct. 06 I was quoted 12-18 months, if I see it before the end of this year I will be ecstatic.

It depends on the model. My 4004 was ordered in March of 05. 12-18 months would be great Image

JimK,

Couldn't you find an existing 360/12FG somewhere?

If all models were consistently at a 12 month turn around, I would call it an amazing triumph that was worth the sacrifice of no COY.

Yeah, I suppose I could've. But this way it gives me the time to save up the do-re-mi, if you know what I mean.

Yeah, ok, having the money would certainly help.
Good luck!
