Dreams Redux

Post by johnallg »

Okay, I've had the flu two days now, and have had to sleep in the practice room with all my basses so as not to infect my wife. Both nights I've had the same basic dream - I'm in the old group from years ago, I'm about to go onstage for the first time in years, and I can't find my bass. I have to leave and hurriedly find it, but never do. First night the one guitarist was helping me look for it, and the second night the other guitarist had a Fireglo Japanese violin bass he lent me, but I never made it back before waking.

So I still don't know how it will turn out. Do I sleep with the basses or my wife tonight?! Image

Hmm. When you sleep with your wife, do you dream that you can't find her?

Seems to me that, in the end, you wake up in a room full of basses and feel a whole lot better. So maybe it will all turn out well when you return to your wife!

I don't need a room full of wives! Good Lord, I'm happy with one! More than enough! Image

I'm going to be REALLY good and just wish you a speedy recovery. Image You should try the Airborne line of products to bolster your immune system while you're convalescing. I have come to swear by it.

Pay heed to your dreams. They can portend the future. Or not.

Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others.
