Ah, finally, someone to talk shop with...

Okay, so she can't hear me. Probably better that way!

Thanks, Tony!

Dave, I agree. That's a great deal in any decade!

"...but I still plug my single line into the ROS plug because that's the way I used to do it. Crazy, I know."

Only uses the treble pup then. Some really great huge tones she gets.

"She knew somebody who was selling a 4001 for $150.00?!!"

Lol, that was going to be the title of my thread but I thought not everyone will watch to that point.

I think I'll e-mail her and invite her to the forum!

Ok, done, I sent her an invite!

Only criticism I have is that I'd have liked to hear more playing. I hope she joins up.

I bought my '72 Burgundyglo for $150 in 1988. And it used to belong to a rock star, if that's what you call Tommy Stinson.

But I don't expect another deal like that. Even so, this is probably why compulsively I sweep through each and every Craigslist guitar listing, every day...

Oh well,

I tried.

Two E-mails, five days, zero response.

Amy's very nice. I have corresponded with her on myspace.

Marc,

You are right, she is a VERY NICE person! It seems only one of my emails made it through the spam filter! We all know what THAT is like!

I just received two really nice Emails from Amy.
Apparently between computer problems, the huge volume of Emails she receives and life in general, it just took a while to respond. She apologized repeatedly, I can't wait for her to join in here. Sounds like a SUPER, well grounded person who can contribute a LOT to our little world! Image

Amy DID join the forum but is just waiting for a response from Peter.

WELCOME AMY.......This is a great forum and it is unlike any other.

Hey! Glad to be here! Sorry for the delay in showing up--I'm in northern Michigan at the moment and about to head back to ol' sticky, hot Missouri tomorrow. I'm looking forward to stopping by in the coming weeks!
