New England get togethers?

Post by chrisdski »

I am fairly new here. I did a search for any get togethers in the New England area of USA. Didn't see any previous posts. Has a New England gathering ever happened?

The Sun might be fun. I am near Portland, Maine- nice town to visit. Pub crawl, music scene, etc. Ric dealer in town.

I wasn't able to make it to MARF, (and won't be able to get down to SoCal Image ), so I would definitely be interested in a New England get together. And if it's Maine, we may even get a visit from our esteemed Moderator!

so how involved do these get? I've never been to one, so have nothing to base it on. Do you usually line up a hotel for a conference room and room package deals for overnight stay? Meals? Any entertainment?

So who organized MARF? I would be willing to start a NERF.

I think it would be great for the New England Forumites to organize something.

As far as MARF II goes, all of the thanks should go to Chris Clayton and his GF Shelby, 'Ambassador' Dave Pascoe and all of you who attended. I was just the 'fly on the wall' having a good time.Image Don and myself did a little bit, but it was great because everyone BELIEVED in it being a cool happening, which it was.
