Wait a second... I thought the Old Style 360s did not have a bound sound hole (like the 330s). Those things look really cool with the sound hole bound. Am I imagining some change or have the always been bound?

I think Ron's access to the bank account and credit card may have been removed...... at least as far as guitar purchases are concerned!! Image

However, he's a very resourceful man!!

Jim, the WB has a bound sound hole. The v64 doesn't.

I have a couple:
I ordered this one new with Toasters back in the Day-AG Blue. I added the Accent later-

This one I found on Ebay in `05. I added the Accent. I found that I liked the hi gain sound but wanted alnico toaster style pickups, so Sergio is making some overwound 14k toaster pickups for me-

I will probably have the paddle style headstocks trimmed to 60s proportions at some point with the appropriate Kluson tuners installed-actually, I'll install the safety post style Gotoh replica Klusons-I like those. Sorry the pics aren't better.

Could someone send me the complete link for this thread? I can't find it and am interested as to when/why the change came about. My oldest WB is from 11/84 and has the bound sound hole but photos of previous year models show an unbound soundhole. The binding really accents the soundhole and makes the guitar all the more striking!
