I thought Warmoth offered body blanks pre-drilled and routed but unshaped so you could make your own shape. I thought about doing something like that.
It's too bad nobody makes a semi-hollow kit.

What I meant was, he saw the fender and gibson designs, the ones that are used under license, but he wanted to see more, something he would enjoy more... coming from a Rickresource Forumite, this can only mean a Rick body shape (pardon the gross generalisation of every forum member for the sake of a small joke!) Anyways... carry on.

Actually, what I was thinking was that I didn't see anything that I thought was very exciting. I didn't see any archtop guitars at all, which is what I was really looking for. At any rate, I ended up being uninspired by the whole idea in the end.

I assembled a Warmoth using the semi-hollow strat body...very light and resonant. They used to briefly offer a semi-hollow Rick-style body, complete with slash soundhole.

I've been considering it a lot lately, escpecially as I REALLY want to do a reverse headstock jazz bass. Please keep us posted as to how it goes. Thanks.
