The Plastic Cloud
The Plastic Cloud was a psych-rock band from the swingin' scene in late '60s Canada that should have been much more popular than they were. One of their guitar players used a Rickenbacker 12 and it features prominently on many of their songs. If anyone can track down their self-titled album (I believe it has been reissued on CD by now) I highly recommend giving it a listen, especially their most well known songs, Epistle to Paradise, Art's a Happy Man and Shadows of the Mind. An incredibly tight band with great harmonies, virtually no audio or video record of this band exists apart from this one album.
