Sad News

David Carr forum member & friend died today aged just 48.The sad thing is that he sent me an email to phone him today,but with things to do at work i rang him and he had already died.He died of a heart attack,i will miss his knowledge and help and his love of the Rickenbacker bass.Rest in peace Mate.

Very sad indeed.

We had mailed each other a few times, and he was always interested in talking basses.

He will be missed here.

So sorry to hear. I wonder if he got that "head turning" bass he was hoping to get about a month ago. I hope he did. Sympathies to all of his friends.

Dave was a good guy. I will miss him and his website. My condolences to his loved ones.

There's never a good time to go, but 48? Far too young. Rest in peace and my condolences to his family and friends.
