Even so, I'd love to see Larry King get the catapult treatment...
Here is where I hide my music:

There's a show here on national TV called "the Chaser's War on Everything".
Recently Sophia Loren visited and one of the Chaser guys at the press conference stood up and asked her ten questions. A little irreverent, but there you go.

Re: the Larry King Live show, I gotta say, Ringo looks and sounds great. Talk about aging gracefully. What was going on with Paul, anyway? Ringo seemed like he was trying to get Paul to chill out. I was almost cringing wondering if Paul was going to say or do something dumb.
God bless Ringo. The interview would have been more interesting if it had just been with Ringo.

If you want a glimps of what McCartney is like rather than "Beatle Paul", watch the last few seconds of the show and see Larry King try to get Paul to meet a young boy. Paul simply blows them off after he hammed it up for the cameras.
That is his daily personality.
Olivia Harrison is a true class act. Kudos to her and to Yoko as well.

IMO Larry King was awful, his questions were down right juvenile, interrupted answers they would give, no wonder Paul & Rings seemed a bit cheeky. How could King be so misinformed that he would ask Olivia how she felt about the song "Something". I guess practically everyone except King knows the song was written for Patty. What a schlep of an interview. Potentially an all time great chance for a memorable interview and L. King goes numb from the neck up. Shameful really.
It is what it is!

I believe L.K. is famous for being terrible. Someone on SNL used to do a great impression of him while he was writing his column, which might just be the worst column ever published (USA Today.) But I used to read it just to see how terrible it was on any given day. I think one of the columnists in the Onion used King's column as inspiration for his page, which is hysterical. Clearly King is watched and read by people who don't care about facts (half his stuff is total tabloid rubbish) and the rest of his success is due to the fact that he knew whose butts to kiss and had no problem doing so. But really, was it a worse interview than Oprah's one with Paul? Can't blame the guy. I'm not sure I'd want to meet Larry King's kid, either.
This is off the record
