That looks older than 72 which means the headstock does not have a volute, and they are notorious for breaking off. Just a minor design flaw they fixed in 72, just as the three point bridge in 73 solved the tilting issue. I have a Badass on the cheap one I got, but I now have a three point bridge. I just need the actual innards for the bridge now.

That's no EB-0, that's a EB-4001 !!

That Rickenbacker 1970s bridge pickup assembly looks a little non-Gibson there, dontcha think ? Image

A little skunkworks on the slide switch to select pickups too....

Never seen a Gibson EB-4001 before Image Image
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and sit in with the band whenever you can, to keep your chops up!

My EB-3 is a slot head like that, they made them from 1969-1971. I like it, makes it a little less neck heavy and looks cool too. I love mine and the two pickups takes away the subliminal rumble you get from the neck pickup alone, it's actually a good sounding and playing bass, has a two point bridge, you just got to loosen the strings when you adjust it which takes about two seconds on a short scale bass.
I saw that Ric pickup right away, haha!

I have an "EB-0" (thas what the TRC says) that looks something like this-sans RIC p'up. Same mudbucker but toggle switch for the 2 p'ups and 4 pots. Cherry colour and much better shape.

One of these days I'll send some $$$ to Gruhn for an appraisal...

How about a pic or two, Jared? Surely we can shed some light on what it is and what it's worth.
