OK, I see the difference now - the 6-string fretboard is darker wood than the bass fretboard on your longest-held one, and the opposite is true on the other one. Sergio's is light wood on both...

That is an amazing collection, Dave! And the Xanadu clip really zaps the forebrain on me too Image I watched it seven times in a row before I started breathing again, it seemed. Man, I wish I could sing like Geddy could back then!

Paul you must give Geddy's vocal style a chance to grow on you. That was from 25 years ago. He sings in a much much higher key these days..Image

hey dave, surely just for the bats. no, i tried it again, it still had the same effect on me. i like songs that are over and done with within 3 minutes, not just starting the lyrics. :-)
saying that though ,the bit from 1.08 reminded me very much of Big Star.

Loved the clip of Xanadu. One of my all time favorite Rush songs.

Hee hee, I'm with Paul. Every time I hear Rush, I expect the video to feature munchkins, lol. Ok, I'm leaving now......

I was waiting for Olivia Newton-John to start singing. Where's she gone? Image

I like Xanadu off of,Im not sure,,, but I think its Exit Stage Left.

In one of the softer spots where its just Geddy and Neil, you can here the sound man turn up Ged's distortion level.

Pretty cool.

But then again I'm just nuts, crazy and pathetic like Dave. Image

Better be careful you guys, Ged might just show up at one of those "confluences" and open up a can of "whup-a**" on you all. Image

YEAH! Take good care of Star, Dave. Meanwhile, stay in tune (= watch you e-mail box) for a really juicy picture of my November '70 21 fretter.Image
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

I just saw the photo of Jaclyn in the email you sent me, Sérgio. You must have already wiped off all the juice by then... Jaclyn looked pretty neat and dry in that photo Image

At the risk of further thread drift, her "older twin" sister Susanna says she still misses Jaclyn and wants her to come over for a visit Image
