And Howard, don't say that. I'm sure the word "intelligence" gets used with your name a lot.

Some examples:

"If you need someone intelligent, don't call Howard."

"Howard has absolutely no intelligence."

"Howard doesn't even know what intelligence means."

From where I stand, everybody around here seems bright, but, um, if you knew me that wouldn't necessarily make you run out and sign up for MENSA.

Another observation is that you all seem to have incredible taste in guitars.

Well ****, I'll definitely miss this year's SoCal Confluence. My daughter's surgery is August 23rd, the day after her (and her three sibling's b'day...aaannnnd my 44th.) her 6th birthday. Some good thoughts around that time will be appreciated. I wish that i could be out there with all of ya'll but it just won't happen. Have a great time! Many pics/movies would be appreciated. No need to reply to this post, we're all friends here.

No worries, Doc. You and the others have done a great job to date and I and I'm sure many others really appreciate it.

BTW........ have you arranged the 1000 watt bass amp, 3 vintage 60s Twin Reverbs, a Marshall 100 watt single channel, the 12 piece Tama set and the Mackie 1500 watt 32 channel PA system? Oh.... and don't forget the mics, stands, foldback wedges and..........
