Ah, a Rath 4 to 5 in action! Also noted the Pickguardian treble pickup surround. Nice!

A Rath creation that would be! And such a nice variety of sounds. It can be as straight as any country song requires and growly as needed for some rock stuff in the later sets.

It still has a bit too much back bow, but a heavier gauge string is taking enough of that out to be tolerable for the time being. As long as I stay away from the upper frets, it's manageable. Just too many shows this past month to live without it on stage. I have a down month as of this week, so I'm going to venture into the world of heating and bending the neck this week.

The heavier gauge is just too frustrating to stick with. Takes just enough space off between strings to be annoying on faster runs.

This past Sunday's Afternoon gig, IIRC there were five total over the entire Holiday weekend.
Playing a rest in the first photo and most likely "The Weight" in the second, only song I can think of, I do play with what most would consider a "light" touch, that I would use my thumb behind the horseshoe.

Not pictures of me, but my brother Joe, who some of you may remember from the 75th. These photos were taken on his...uh....Wedding night, but not to worry. This was all part of a huge jam session at the reception, and the Turquoise 4003 he's playing was a Birthday gift from his bride. Lot's of musicians, lots of fun, lots of decibels....

Chapter 2...after the 75th, (and playing Joey Vasco's basses...and also falling in love with Gary Clauson's SH 350) Joe went home and started raving about RICs. His bride to be got on ebay and picked up the Turquoise 4003 in time for his Birthday a month later...cool story, but then again I'm his brother and its fun to see him so happy.

After reflection it was pointed out to me that the second photo was taken during "Rhumba Girl" and Not "The Weight" as previously mentioned.
