Beatles Reunion Movie?

Does anybody remember the VH1 movie that hilighted the meeting between John and Paul in 1976. In this film Paul visits John in NYC. In the end the almost accept the SNL gig.

They did come close to heading over to SNL and freaking out Lorne Michaels, according to Paul. I think they were too tired (or something) to jump up and make it happen right away. But just imagine...

SPOILER COMING UP:

Yeah, then John goes fetal while Yoko babies his fragile psyche...Paul realizes it's not to be and heads home wistfully. I've got a feeling it was probably a lot less dramatic than all that. Paul says in interviews that they talked and hooked up quite a bit throughout the mid and late 70's, but in the way old acquaintances might...some conversation, a bite, some TV and go home.

Not that I know.

JL also said if someone really needs to have a brand new Beatles album, they could take all the solo albums, pick and choose tracks, and make one on cassette, since that'd be how they'd be working anyway if they were together.
