Rick acoustic - 730 Laramie 12string needed!

Post by neilgraham »

Hello there,

I'm trying to source a rickenbacker acoustic for one of our bands who are currently recording their 2nd album - any would be considered but preferably a 730 Laramie and even more ideally - a Laramie 12 string. Would anyone be able to help in my search?

Many thanks,

Neil Graham

Welcome Neil. If you're up for a wait, you can contact Paul Wilczynski, who is currently building the Rickenbacker acoustic guitars.

Jeffrey Scott just bought one in April from Pick of the Ricks in New Jersey. If anyone knows where one is, it is either Jeffrey <[email protected]> or Chris Clayton at POTR <[email protected]> Last I saw, Chris had two Image

Welcome Neil,

Looking for one of these?

Paul may be your best bet unless you are really patient to find one on the second hand market. I got mine used at POTR and I have only seen a couple others at various Rickenbacker confluences over the years.

Glad to be of service, Jeffrey!

I know first-hand how well this one plays - I spent awhile with it at MARF II before you bought it Image Gorgeous tone and nice smooth feel to the neck...

I have one too. I bought mine new at Jim's in Irvine here in SoCal. It's Fireglo. Where are you recording? I may be able to let you use it for recording if you're local.
