Good deal, but it does have a couple of features that place it in the 1973 period, the tailpiece and the pickguard with no tug bar are two I can see off the top of my head.

Damn, that was a good deal. One for the You Snooze You Loose thread I think. Stunning dark Burg. I would have jumped at that.

It's probably a 72 going by the nice inlays, very few 73's had those. It's also possible since it's a Sept. that it got passed over for the tugbar. Don't know about the tailpiece, lot of things could have happened back there in 35 years. They could have got double their money for this one.
