Question about 4004C

Post by bassduke49 »

Thanks to Dave Westheimer, I'm the proud owner of a 4004 Cheyenne (C i ?), the one with the maple neck-through, walnut wings to the body and headstock, humbuckers, gold plated hardware, etc. I think they started making them in 1992, the one I have is 1993. How much longer were they produced? And is there any way to know how many were made? Thanks, folks.

Hi Paul, I believe 1993 was the first year. I read somewhere that none were made after 1997 though it may have been in the catalog longer than that. No idea how many were made.

My 4004C has a birth date of 12/07/98 and I believe they were in the 1999 catalog. I have no idea how many were made of course.
