Rheostatics?

Post by 86kubicki »

This may be a long shot, (and it has nothing to do with Rickenbackers), but are there any Rheostatics fans out there?

Love the Rheostatics. I used to go see them when they would do their 'Greensprouts Music Week' gigs at the Ultrasound. They kind of lost me with that Group of Seven thing, but I still have Melville on cassette. Such a brilliant album. What an amazingly talented bunch of guys.

Steve, your post inspired me to do this: Record Body Count so you will have to take half the blame when my wife gets home and the kitchen still hasn't been cleaned up.

Greg, I've really only discovered them in the last few years. Last night I finished Dave Bidini's book "On A Cold Road" and then spent about 2 hours watching Rheostatic clips on YouTube. A great band that never got it's due. Now clean up that kitchen!
