Jeff, I doubt a 4003S would effect the price of a C-Series bass. Remember they make a modern 360/12 and a 360/12C64 and there is still a large price difference.

Count me in the "S" camp - since I got my '91 4003S (looks just like Ben's MGBT but the treble pup cover is still on), my 4003 and 4004C are collecting dust. In fact they are still stored away in their cases from when I hid them going on vacation in June. Great tone (13k pups) and like Ben's, a really slim, great neck.
