He joined the Spotnicks in September 1965 which was after his time with The Beatles, issued a couple of singles one of which Husky I have.

After playing with The Beatles, Jimmy met up with the Fab Four when The Shubdubs played with the Beatles and The Fourmost on July 12, 1964 at the Hippodrome Theatre in Brighton.

After his brief time with The Beatles, Nicol declared bankruptcy in 1965. That year, he joined numerous bands including Swedish group The Spotnicks (who formed in 1961 and have since released 42 albums and still tour) which he left in 1967.

In 1975 Jimmy Nichol returned to England after setting up a button factory in Mexico. Other work in this time included housing renovations and carpentry. Later in his life, it was rumoured that Nicol had died in 1988, however a report in 2005 by the Daily Mail confirmed that he was still alive and living as a recluse in London."

I got some of the links to work Kent on your last link.

The cover of Humpty Dumpty was Nichol's first solo release. Husky was the second though later recorded by The Spotnicks.

Judging by videos on You Tube a lot of Spotnicks fans out there, I have a number of albums but nowhere near the 42 Kent quotes.

The 42 albums (and 18 million records) was from Wikipedia. I gotta be honest in that I'd never even heard of The Spotnicks before!

The name Spotnicks was a takeoff on Russia's Sputnick satillite and the band was known for their spacesuit outfits.

The Spotnicks sound (and stage movements) are very much akin to Dick Dale. My first thought is that the Spotnicks were heavily influenced by Dale, but could it be the other way around? Was the origin of Dick Dale's sound really the guitar work of the Spotnicks' Bo Winberg?
