1. As you know, the color green has lots of different shades, and this one is probably (imho) the "2nd worst" for guitars (after "nuclear green"). And personally, i do not think purple or "baby blue" look much better on acoustic guitars than green, but that's a question of "personal perception", methinks.
2. Unrealistic - why? There are people in this world who love green & probably would want a guitar in that color...

Oh, the wonderful green, subjective as ever...

I'll agree with Paul, not the most flattering shade of verde on that 730...

But, you know eventually, he'll come up with a shade that gets it done.

I'll present DE 554 one more time, as an example that is probably better than most, and to celebrate 3000 times here.

That's a rare misstep from you Paul. I think you made the right choice.

I think "Mink" would look sensational on an acoustic.

I've got something very close in the works, Scott. But the owner and I call it "Wineglo" (Hic!) because it's a bit darker in the center.

Stay tuned, as I've said so many times before.

I think of mine as sort of a Wineglo, only I like to call it Burgundyburst.

Good call on stripping the acoustic, Paul. It looks like a Glo Worm.

I like some shades of green very much, but that was hideous Paul. That was a good call on your part to strip it back to maple. IMO of course.

I encourage Paul to take as many chances as he wants. If it doesn't work out, he knows "this guy" who can fix it.

You should have your new hot tub done in GlowWormGlo, Kenny! You'd be the envy of your block. While Paul is at it, you could also add checkerboard purfling to it, just like JH's Image

By the way, Paul, that color green is not right for the upcoming new 6 and 12 string acoustics, I can safely say Image PeacockBlueGlo is still the optimal choice, is it not? Image
