A question to all; how do you post such large photos? I keep getting the message that says 36kb is the max....

They can be no more than 500 x 500 pixels in size.

I use Irfanview, which is a free download, www.irfanview.com

I like Adobe photoshop 7.0 as well, I just click on the "save for web" button under file, and it lets you resize to your liking.

I feel your pain,,it took me forever to figure the picture thing out.

The larger a picture, is, the more it will have to be compressed to get it to 36kb or less. Bright pictures or pictures with lighter colors, the more it will have to be compressed to get it to 36kb or less. Darker pictures or pictures with darker colors will not have to be compressed so much. Using the "Sharpen Picture" function of a photo editor creates a larger sized (in kb) file.
I also like Irfanview, it works well for quick editing of a photo I'd like to post.

Thanks for the tips guys! I'll have to try Irfanview.
Paul, I made the pickguards myself. It started because I never liked the proportions on the V-63 guards, so I made one myself. Then I guess I got carried away........
Kevin, things are good here in Atlanta. By the way, how many V-63's do you have now? Did you get the fireglo you were after? Your maple V is a stunner. Don't ever sell it!

Beautiful bass.

I'd get a direct replacement Rick tailpiece or the Hipshot.

I did get the FG, and it's my main player. It has such a great neck! That brings me to just two V's at the moment. You don't know anyone that wants to sell a nice maple '91 do you? Image

I need to take some new pictures. This one bugs me with the smudges on the chrome.
