Not bad. A little weak in the vocal department.
It just so happens also that “Little Wing” never did much for me. It’s interesting though that every guitar player I’ve ever met at a jam, it seems, wants to play “Little Wing” (and “Hey Joe”*).
I guess maybe it’s because it’s probably the one well known Hendrix song someone can play in public without looking campy. A pot-bellied middle-aged guitar player would probably look ridiculous trying to cover “Purple Haze” or “Foxy Lady.” (Though my band does do “Fire.”)
* Actually, of course, a Billy Roberts song.

I used to do this with guitar and harmonica, actually flew, believe it or not.
I liked this better than I thought I would, especially in the middle, that strumming change-up with the polyrhythms, kinda nice! I think Sean Lennon is good, I enjoy his personality and appreciate that he can write appealing songs, but I too have difficulty enjoying the sound of his voice.
Another great Hendrix song to cover--and I think this would work fine, even poignantly, with a middle-aged potbelly or whatever you may sport--is "Angel".
