I'd vote for a 620 as well. 325's are pretty strange little guitars compared to most (though I do love my 1996) and are among the most expensive Rickenbackers. Personally, I don't have kids, but I'd probably think twice about spending $2K on a starter guitar. 620's are fantastic guitars, they're a good size, and as a solidbody it will me more slightly similar to the Strats and LP's she's been playing than a 330 or 360 would be. 620's are also among the least expensive Ricks, and you can often find a good deal on a used one. And they hold their value, so if she wants to sell it to buy a 325 she'll get some good money back out of it!
