Great playing/sounding PJ bass for sale

Post by cheyenne »

Anyone interested? Asking $425.00. '00 Squire body, dark green metallic paint (Sherwood metallic)?, gold guard, Dimarzio model P and Carvin J99 Pups, Tokai bridge, Kubicki maple neck, and schaller keys. Comes with a decent gig bag... A real Frankenstein. Image

I have it done up with all the vintage pickup covers, and strung with new D'addario chromes.

The neck is the real selling point. Its an early '80's Kubicki "Staff" neck. Nice Jazz taper, maple board, original nut. As good if not superior to a Warmoth, alot nicer than Allparts.

It has no vintage value, but a great playing and sounding P bass, something that you can take into a bar and not have to worry about getting damaged or stolen, but yet sounds better and outplays any new American made P-bass. (IMHO).

Pics tonight after work...

There's a spot on the back that looks like a belt rash, but its just a reflection. Just your minor scratches and abrasions here. Image

Looks great!
I always thought Kubicki made the best aftermarket "Fender" style necks and bodies.

Nice looking bass, I saw it last week and thought it was a Fender Hotrod or something like that.
