I just received a CD of old Raspberries (Eric Carmen) tunes for Xmas. After a listen I would add their "Lets Pretend" and "I Wanna Be With You" to the list of Ric songs.

There's an Audi commercial out now with nice background music and a 12 that sounds just jangly enough...
BTW, when recording, is double tracking your 12 the norm? An old GP magazine mentions it, so I dug up "Feel A Whole Lot Better" by TP and it sounds doubled. I had a hard time getting THAT sound on my current project (didn't double).

Any Smiths songs definitively use a Rick 12?

Pearl Jam used a Ric 12 string on their latest single "The Fixer."

I saw a photo of the band in the studio recording this album and smiled a mile wide when I saw a 12 string Rickenbacker in the studio with them. Got the album, listened carefully, and found the 12 string is on there for a total of two seconds! It shows up in "The Fixer" just as a bridge, but at least they used it. Listen up at 1:29.
