Ric in a Bose AD

Post by ricnbacker »

I got a Giant Musicians Friend catalog in the mail the other day.
theres a Bose ad that has a LP/drum set/keyboards some Bose speakers and a Ric 4003 set up on a stage.

someone complained in another thread that GW had a Ric in their magazine, maybe this is better?

I got that giant-sized catalog from MF yesterday. Sheesh... I think more of it was sticking out of my mailbox than was in.

That PA with the cylindrical speakers from Bose is listed for sale on the 2nd-to-last page... must be the reason for the advert.

I'm still trying to find out why Bass Player magazine never features any Ric players.

The closest they've come is Geddy Lee in last month's issue, and he was pimping his Fender.

I noticed that also, Craig.

Either they or Guitar World's Bass Guitar World (while in print!) had a special issue of the most influential bass players and they covered 25 or more bassists and what, no Chris Squire?! Lame to say the least.

Craig, they did a cover story on Cliff Burton a little while ago. Shame there was no mention of the 4005 when then featured Larry Graham...?
