Popping strings

Post by chucksimms »

Has anybody some suggestions for preventing the string popping out of the saddle on my 335 (yep, have an Accent vibrato) when I'm plucking? It sucks to try and lay into the solo for 'She's a Woman' and lose the E string!

I assume that the string is coming out of the Accent vibrato? Make sure that the ball end of the string is tucked under the plate of the vibrato. I like to pre-bend the string a little prior to tucking the string in.

Thanks- I actually came to that conclusion upon closer inspection- glad to hear that's what I need to do.
