Try ultimate-guitar.com. They may have some, although it's been a while since I looked them up.

There aren't any that I know of. It's actually some of the most closely controlled music ever. Dave Clark owns all of the rights and guards them.

Poor Mike Smith fell from a ladder at is home several years ago causing a neck and spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed. He had just started touring again after years of retirement.

......and Dennis Payton, the saxophonist, died recently. For some reason the R&R HOF has it out for these guys!

I remember that the Hall of Fame even has some sort of mixing board or electronic console that was in the studio with them, having been designed for their use, on display, yet they are denied their (rightful) place.

You're right Matthew, Dave Clark does guard his music very closely. At least Dave Clark doesn't have to worry about MICHAEL JACKSON licensing the use of his songs for a series of new ads for a diaper company!!!

Yep, Dave Clark doesn't want anyone to hear DC5 music anymore. That explains why none of their music is available on CD. I've never been a fan. I still can't stomach the idea of a sax player in a beat band. Pretty lame. Now you can flame me.

I disagree as well, but I'm not going to yell at anyone that their opinion is wrong. I think that they had a different sound and that it worked for them. I like the different sound that they had.

Everyone: Thanks for indulging me. Although I collect music and video by every imaginable British band from the 1960's, the DC5 have always left me cold. I don't like the wooden stage presence, the foot stomping, or the sax playing. Didn't they refer to it as 'Tottenham sound' or 'Thamesbeat' or something? Thanks again for not savaging over my musical tastes.

Hey Randy,

Dont worry about anyone savaging you over your musical tastes, afterall we all have our likes and dislikes when it comes to various British bands. The great thing is that the music is now being listened to by a new generation of fans..
and for that generation who have been there from the very start of the British Invasion, great memories of a time in Rock N' Roll History that will never been repeated!!
