On August 16th it's 30 years since Elvis passed away. Here's a preliminary mix of one song from the forthcoming album with the norwegian artist Stephen Ackles. Yours truly on bass. Sorry but no Rickenbacker this time.

When they first hit the Southern circuit, they were billed as the Hillbilly Cat and the Blue Moon Boys.
How come Elvis never became a better guitar player than just the cowboy-chord strummer he was. I guess the answer is that he never had to.
