Yeah, you got me there Brian...whirling in his urn?

If Mickey's rolling over, I suspect it might have something to do with Barry Bonds, who's definitely been doing a little dab of something...

I just don't find the argument compelling that these companies, and RIC in particular, would not have had the success they've worked hard for if four out of the tens of thousands of musicians working in the last five decades hadn't formed a little combo. I just can't imagine that great sounding and playing guitars from Santa Ana would've faded into obscurity under any circumstances (barring a factory fire).

Since two out of the three famous Ricks were given to the Fabs, you could just as easily argue their success is at least partly attributable to Rickenbacker's astute marketing.

HAAAAAA! good one

absolutely right! If Reggie is "Mr October", Barry Bonds should be known as "Mr *". OR maybe we can just call him "The Juice" since OJ has forfeited his right to any respect whatsoever.

To keep it simple, how about if we just call him "Mr. Winstrol-Deca-Durabolin-Insulin-Testosterone-Synthetic Testosterone-Testosterone Decanoate-Human Growth Hormone-Norbolethone-Trenbolone-Clomid-Commercial Racehorse Laxative"...

A little o' that sh*t goes a long, long, way, way back to the warning track...and it's gone!!!!

Or WDDITSTTDHGHNTCCRL for short.

But the baseball universe will once again be in balance once A-Rod passes Bonds.

...Racehorse laxative?

I think Bonds must have rubbed it into his scalp.

In regards to Bonds, how come no one is talking about the fact that his 755th home run was hit off of a pitcher that was actually busted and suspended for using steroids?

One other steroids observation. I once heard the 4004 as being described as a Rick bass on steroids.

Oh well...number 756 is now in the history books, if not the police blotter...

Where have you gone, Hank Aaron? Our nation turns it's lonely (and somewhat bloated) eyes to you...

Now that the Bondswatch is over, maybe the nation can turn its eyes back to what's really important:
