Morrison, Folds, Mayer

Saw this show last night. James Morrison was really good, Ben Folds sounded completely exhausted and shot out, and John Mayer was pretty darn good. I wish he had played more trio stuff though instead of the pop stuff. Anyone else see this tour?

Oh yeah and we got soaked with rain.

We/I did manage to catch the show, back 3 weeks or so. Rumor had it that a "surprise" guest just mite show up that nite, E.C. >never happened< Great show, Jdog.

I didn't make this tour, but I saw Ben Folds twice last year and he was incredible both times. It sounds like he might have had an off night. When I saw him (with band) he was extremely high energy and feeding off the crowd and interacting with them. As he often does, he has different parts of the crowd join in for harmonies on a couple of songs. He is a crowd pleaser, a great musician, songwriter, and performer. I would go see him again in an instant.
