4000 Basses

Post by mr4000 »

Would anyone like to share their pictures of 4000 basses? '60's basses are of special interest to me. Thanks.

Here's a lowly 1976. My first good bass, and I still have it. It plays beautifully.

Darren,

That is one of the FEW basses I regret not buying when it was available.....Could-a, Should-a.......

Thanks, guys. Didn't the cream-colored bass with the hipshot bridge once belong to another forum member? It looks familiar to me.

Here is a '68. I have a few more ****** pics, on my home computer, from back then if you want to see them I can post or email them with a little better resolution. They are all scanned slides from an Instamatic® camera.
Notice how the upper horn seems so much thinner.
