I still think it would be a nice idea to bring a confluence to Peter. There was talk of a New England area confluence, so why not go a few extra miles and have one in New Brunswick?

Thanks to all of you who have said such kind things. It just seems like yesterday when I posted a couple of photos of my newly found 350 Liverpool and my 450/12 to ask if anyone else was interested in sharing information about their instruments. I would seem as if the answer was yes and 9 years ago!

From little Rickenbackers big friendships grow. I remember thinking, wow it looks like I got 100 visitors this week. There might be something to this after all.

Thank's to all of you have turned this place up to 11! Your comments are overwhelming and say so very much about who you are. I am most grateful for the opportunity to learn about Rickenbackers, music and life here and not always in that order.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Peter, I whole-heartedly support Graham's suggestion. It's about time you created a little space in your life to come and enjoy some of the ultimate benefits of this place! Image

It still amazes me how a having a common interest in Rickenbackers has evolved into friendships with so many people.

Just to think, 20 years ago you made friends with people close to you and when they moved around the world, you became penpals and wrote letters to each other.

The Forum has seen the reverse happen. You start out corresponding with others about your shared interests, from half a world away in some cases; you become friends, and then, if you're as lucky as I am, you meet face to face and end up becoming real close friends!

What will they think of next? Spray on cheese in a can??? Image

I don't mean to speak for Peter, but the end of August can be pretty hellish for those of us in the education game. I managed to make the 75th last year, but had to leave early on the Sunday so I didn't miss more work!

We should be sure to bring our own chips and drinks to Peter's house in New Brunswick, for the NewBee 2007 Confluence. Although I am sure his yard is big enough for 50 to 60 tents and campfire pits, plus the stage we will build from chainsawing down his trees and garage, we shouldn't presume as guests upon a man's own stock of beer and chips Image
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and sit in with the band whenever you can, to keep your chops up!
