OMG.....

But, I MUST BE STRONG (doing my best Captain Kirk impression) and WAIT FOR MY 4003FL AFG....

That is too cool! Thanks for posting it Brian!

Wonder why Buffalo is advertising it as a 4000 FL ? That is a 4003 FL for sure.....

Elys, I suspect it's just some sloppy website editing. On the previous page:

http://www.buffalobrosguitars.com/bassGuitars.html

it's correctly described as a 4003FL, although they're using some stock 4003 descriptive text that includes "deluxe triangular inlays", which obviously do not appear on the fretless.

That is sooooo gorgeous! Still waiting for my 4003FL BBR, but the Rick website does show that one or more 4003FL BBRs were shipped to Rosetti very recently - could - it - be ----- mine???

All of the FL's in the last year or so have had killer wood on the necks. Here is my BB.

Dave - that is beautiful - I've got a 4003 BB which is a stunner. Any sign of any minty green appearing on yours yet?

Weird how some are affected more than others & in different places - mine is blue as blue can be on the front & the back of the neck, but there is a tinge of green on part of the back of the headstock, & practically the whole of the back of the body is minty! Still gorgeous though!

I'm pretty sure that FG is one of my very own :^) Our regular painter was out that day,and I got to paint most of the FG 4003FL's. Made 'em nice and dark too.
