Please trade me a Rick for my Warwick
Hey, everybody! I also posted this in the wanted section, but I wanted to get the word out to all you bass guys. I'm about to obtain a Warwick Corvette Standard Fretless 4 String bass from a friend and I am interested in trading it. Go to this url for the skinny on the bass:
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Warwick-Corvette-Standard-Fretless-Bass?sku=519129&src=3SOSWXXA
The body is Bubinga and the neck is 3 Piece Ovangkol with a Wenge Fretboard. 2 MEC Jazz Bass style pickups and deluxe gig bag. It is a couple years old, but it is in great condition. It is super solid. I set it up today and it plays extremely well. It's a great bass, but I REALLY want a Ric. I will try to post a picture tomorrow.
What I am looking for is, basically, almost any Rickenbacker. Specifically, I would like to have:
1. a 4000, 4001, or 4003 (any color),
2. a 620 (6 or 12, any color),
3. a 360/6 (any color),
4. a 330 (6 or 12, any color).
I would also be interested any Gretsch guitar or bass, Fender USA Jaguar, and I'm also open to other offers. I would prefer to trade straight-across, but make me an offer and I will definitely consider it.

HEY Jeff!
I'll take a piece of that!
PLUS, I'll throw in one of my parrots too!
Come to think of it, you can have BOTH of my parrots, and we'll call it even!

I'm not looking for a vintage or c series or anything like that. I'm definitely up for something that needs some TLC. Something functional that needs a new paint job. I know some of you guys have tons of RICs, and thought you might be able to help a guy out that's trying to get his first legitimate Ric bass. Help a brutha out.

Warwicks get a bad name, why I don't know. I suppose I don't know because I've never played one outside a store and that's hardly a good way to judge. But I remember looking at a Rock Bass and it seemed decent enough for the $$.
If I had a large stable of Ricks I would likely help you out, but alas I have a 4001 and a Laredo. The 4001 is going to get a new output jack and TI flats soon, and I plan to start using it more again. My fretless J has ascended back to #1 again, so my plan is to rotate between fretless and fretted, and use the 4001 and Laredo regularly again...
Good luck, but the e-bay idea from Jeffery Scott seems to be the wisest move. You're not going to find much Warwick love here.

Well, I hate to go the ebay way, simply because I don't it. Too many bad experiences. Well, anyways, here are pictures of the bass. If anyone's interested, please let me know.
