There was a fishtail headstock 730 at Jacksons a few years ago. Could it be the same one?

Darren and Greg, congrats on your beuatiful new guitars, enjoy them. They look sweet!
I knew about Darren's guitars, so I almost cheated with the guessing. Image

Greg, it's my pleasure to help. I find it rewarding that you have trust in me. Yay, I get another visitor! Image Greg, I wish you were coming to SoCal so I could finally meet you and buy you a beer also.

You guys are really fueling my RAS for a RIC guitar. I know where I can get a buy new 330 Jetglo and well as a brand new 350V63 Jetglo at the best prices I've seen in a while. I'm tempted to go for one of them. If any of you guys are interested, let me know. Buy 'em before I do!!
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

I reckon Darren spends far too much time fishing around on Ebay. And whilst they are great guitars, I hope he doesn't carp on about it Image

I presume Darren can count his lucky stars that Graham didn't come across the twins before he did. Image

Joey, I have to thank you. It was your comment about the head cut off that made me think "fish".

Joey, all bassists need at least one guitar in their collection.

For those who may be wondering, this is a real photograph I made last Monday for Joey. It is not a composite; just getting the two instruments aligned for this took around an hour of 'fiddling about' !

You're right Jeffrey and I've had guitars in my collection in the past. I had a 20th anniversary Les Paul that I sold a couple of years ago. I had a fireglo 330 that I stupidly sold before I moved to CA and for many years I had my brother's '66 Gibson Firebird. I gave it back to him before I moved to CA. So now I've got RAS for a RIC guitar.
Here's the original pic that Jeffrey took, that I've Photoshopped into the 'spotlight":

Before I compressed the pic to forum specs, you could faintly see the machine head posts and TRC's.

Jwilli, it's the same one from Jacksons. The previous owner bought both acoustics and has barely played them. They've been stored in a temperature controlled room and all the case candy is there. Do you have any idea how many steer-head headstocks were produced? I'm sure that you and I discussed this last year as we stood in the factory, right next to the acoustic headstock templates:-

Graham, there's a reason why I let you have the blue Capri Image

Joey, go on man, buy one. It's the week for buying another Rickenbacker. I'd go for the 350V63.

Jeff, the photo is tremendous, but it's missing the steer-head headstock Image

"Graham, there's a reason why I let you have the blue Capri "................

Likewise - I just couldn't hit the BIN on those acoustics and then ask you to deliver them for me, it just didn't seem right Image

Hey Joey, if i could be there, i most surely would be! As it turns out, i've just left my job of nearly 12 years, and am going to take a month off! I was so very tempted to use some of the finances to make the trip! However, that 330/12 was too good not to go for! And suddenly most of our household appliances seemed to blow up within days of each other,ie: washing machine, TV,dishwasher!
But if ever you decide to visit downunder,a great holiday is in store!
I can't tell you how much i appreciate what you are doing for me!

Greg, it's weird how all of a sudden, several things need fixing or replacement at about the same time!
My wife and I hope to visit you guys down under someday! Image
Good luck with finding a new job.

Darren, the week is about over. There is next week, however. Image
