That Ford example is pretty bad.

If people think that I invented sporadic-transformation inter-transfiguration laser beams without me claiming so - They are idiots.

I lurked around for a while reading this thread and the long thread that disappeared and I don't recall JH claiming that HE personally designed the entire line of Rickenbacker guitars.
However - being the CEO of RIC corporation gives him the right to say "our design" or "our intellectual proprietary".

And Manual (Que'?) - If I invent something and sell it to someone, they have every right to claim it their own and protect their IP.

Where is Marc67 when we need him? The guy is an IP lawyer Image

That's fine. But you probably wouldn't like it if 'they' CLAIMED they invented it (unless you were an idiot, in which case you probably wouldn't invent anything anyway).

Anyway, you weren't the guy that invented 'sporadic-transformation inter-transfiguration laser beams', everyone knows it was Al Gore.

Well, Hillary's claiming that, too now...

Any thread with a picture of the real Curly in is worth reading JD.

I believe somebody on the forum has claimed they could eat 50 eggs.
I'm just happy to be here.

Claim, claim, claim, claim ... doesn't anybody really do anything anymore?

Let me guess, they bought the patent on eating 50 eggs. But were they fish eggs or emu eggs?

Good point Manuel. As they were not specific in their claim, the patent protection should be rather murky at best.

There you go, there's a chance, jump in and patent the feat of eating 50 raw emu eggs in one sitting, within 20 minutes.

If the other guy comes back with a claim that he did it first, well, you can just vacate your seat and let him sit on it.

I just waded through this thread while listening to three tracks of the new Circa release on XM40. At least it wasn't a waste of time for me Jdog! Image
